School's Out, We're In

The summer might be in full swing, but here at IdeaBase we're keeping things fresh working on projects for The AGC of Akron, Kent State Salem, iSchool and Kent Historical Society – among other ongoing projects!

Our students have been working hard keeping up with projects on our dockett; here's a quick update!

The AGC of Akron asked us to revamp their membership packet, looking for something to give to potential members that wasn't just a packet of paper telling what benefits their organization can offer contractors. Designer Maggie Morely developed a gate-fold brochure that opens up to a short list of benefits and testimonials from current AGC of Akron members.

Our web developers have been working to rebrand and rework the entire website for the Kent Historical Society. As a part of the Advanced Responsive Web Design class hosted by IdeaBase, students worked to create a new, modernized website that is slated to release this summer.

Kent State Salem came to us looking for help marketing their new Insurance Studies minor. We took direction from their staff, listening to what they thought the new program would offer and developed concepts we think would offer appeal to students. We have also planned to release various ads on social media to help raise awareness for the program.

Kent State's iSchool is hosting User Experience Design workshops that we have been asked to help brand and market. One of our designers, Jason Merdano, worked on a simple graphic that has been used as an overlay for pictures that iSchool provided. Currently we are producing a short video to help explain the workshops and how they can benefit attendees.
